Today I spent the day practically baking in the sun. Due to insufficient SPF and sunnies I failed to realize how toasted I had become until it was too late.  Lucky for me, red is one of my favorite colors. Here are some skin-safe red options for your summer wearing pleasure.

{ Sweet Summer Time }

Summer is the best season of all time, if you disagree with me, I will call you a liar to your face. Summer = long days of sun worshipping and little to no life responsibilities (let's just pretend I'm not an adult for 3 months, I'm fine with it). I live by the rule that the things that look ugliest on the hanger look best on the body- this dress is the perfect example. At first glance the cut looked overly draped and shapeless but I am in love with the fit! I ditched the gold jewelry for the day and went for a silver bib. I can safely say this was a super airy and comfy day-off outfit!

{ Coming Clean }

When I was a kid my mom called me 'Hurricane Leslie' because every room I entered was left in complete disarray. My bedroom was always stacked with clutter and filth and I preferred the headache of arguing about it to the arm ache of actually cleaning it up. I'm not sure what clicked with me but when I hit twenty I became disgusted with my lifestyle and decided to come clean (literally)! Today I am the freak who scrubs her baseboards and obsessively vacuums, and dust? fuggetaboutit. While I would still like to revamp some I.D aspects (a headboard perhaps?), I am happy to finally share my space.
