{ Prabal Gurung for J.Crew }

My sunday night tradition consists of cafe au lait, redbox movies, and look books. This week I discovered this look book on Fashion Gone Rogue and let me just say:
Prabal Gurung + J.Crew = a match made in editorial (and shopping!) heaven!

{ Rapture Schmapture }

{ Berkeley = mischief }

{ Trying to catch some rays }

{ Cerveza }

{ The enormous tree in the neighbor's yard is finally green! }

( Backyard = amazing }

Rapture? I don't know about you but today's weather was proof enough for me that God is smiling down on us.  What better way to relax from the stressors of the work week than to spend a little time in nature? While the rest of the world is waiting for the beginning of the end I am basking in the present.

{ Nice Buns }

{ SJP's beehive version }

Let's face it, we always want what we can't have, when we have long hair we want short hair and vice versa.  I have been dealing with this problem ever since my hair reached shoulder length. Lately my main complaint has been that my hair is all one length and I 'can't' do anything with it.  After flipping through countless magazines I have come to the conclusion that scissors are not the answer to my hair woes. Instead, I am choosing this style that I became completely infatuated with after seeing it on SATC.

{ Thandie's high fashion version }

Before I go one, I am NOT a skilled hairstylist (so you have an idea of how easy this actually is)!

I love that it's relaxed, polished and it's OUT OF MY FACE!
Yee.

{ Blue Jean Baby }

Some days all you need is a good pair of jeans and a white tee shirt.

{ Wine-Ohh }

Winery season is upon us and so comes the search for the perfect dress.  As all my significant birthdays are passed, the only occasions I can use to justify my shopping addiction are long days at the winery with friends. On one hand, I love the idea of a short dress with sleeves, it feels really 60's and shows off what I consider my best feature (the gams). But, on the other hand, 50's inspired brightly colored tulip dresses are ultra girly and reminiscent of my idol (Barbie, duh). I found all of these dresses on Zara's website, and am now obsessed! How will I choose?

{Out with the Old, In with the New }

{ I searched for the perfect pink lip, and now I've found it! }

{ smells just like Betsey Johnson Perfume! }

{ A classic soak }

{ Main Squeeze =) }

{ Coco de Creme = Lifesaver }

{ makes me look awake when coffee doesn't }

I know all too well how easy it is to get stuck in a rut when it comes to your beauty routine, my friends can vouch for the fact that I've been sporting the cat eye for nearly 5 years. But recently I have found a few new products that I plan to replace my tired old products with. Now I'm just praying I won't need a twelve step program in order to ditch my signature look.

{Lucite Details}

{ Lucite Lamp }

{ Lucite Candle Holders }

{ Lucite top Coffee Table }

{ Lucite Chair }

{ Lucite Table }

Growing up, there were two monster chores in our house that everyone fought to avoid. The first chore was to individually clean each "slat" in the cowboy doors and the second was to windex the fingerprints from anything glass. Now, of course you would think that the 'windexing' would win out in a game of 'would you rather' but -you would be wrong. I chose slats when possible due to a very large glass top table that furnished our dining room. There was absolutely no way to clean the fragile monstrosity without re-fingerprinting the heck out of it or knocking the glass top off completely.

After many years and many rounds of redecorating my mother finally gifted my sister and her fiance with what I call the 'big glass monster'.

As for me, the closest I plan to get to glass furnishings is glass's klutz/fingerprint free cousin- lucite. After stalking Lonnymag, I realized I am not the only one.
